1956 Engaged in the manufacturing field of magnets and semiconductors, and started various products development and research for industrial and medical use.
1974 Established Japan Athletic Industry Co., Ltd. for the purpose of manufacturing and selling medical devices.
1975 Obtained a license from the Ministry of Health and Welfare as a medical device manufacturer. Obtained approval from the Ministry of Health and Welfare for magnetic underwear, magnetic waist supporter, and magnetic foot center supporters, and started sales.
1978 Completed clinical trials of magnetic pillows and magnetic bedding futons, obtained approval from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and started sales.
1979 Completed clinical trials of magnetic supporters for elbows and knees, obtained approval from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and started sales.
1980 Completed clinical trials of platinum magnetic necklaces and obtained approval from the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
1982 Completed clinical trials of magnetic quilts and obtained approval from the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
1984 Obtained approval from the Ministry of Health and Welfare for AC type potential therapy device and DC type cordless potential therapy device. Started sales of magnetic quilts.
1993 Changed the company name from Athletic Industry Co., Ltd. to NAC Corporation.
1994 Started selling platinum magnetic necklaces.
1997 Started selling household potential therapy devices.
2000 Obtained approval of the cordless potential therapy device from Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and started sales.
2005 Obtained approval from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare for a new cordless potential therapy device and started sales.
2006 Obtained certification for magnetic therapy device (supporter).
2007 Obtained the right for medical device manufacturing and sales business.
Obtained certification for magnetic therapy devices (necklaces).
2015 Obtained certification for magnetic therapy device (new supporter).

NAC’s "Controlled Medical Devices" approval and certification:

Controlled medical devices approved by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (112 projects) and certified products (27 projects)
Industrial property rights: 54 patents including foreign patents
